Yeah - there is certainly alot of hoopla going out about this date - interesting topic. I do beleive that when the Mayans created there calendar, being the advanced civilization that they were - they were able to forecast the universe and the planetary systems and at that time, with that present energy, the "end of days" for the earth. Some read this as armagedon, some read this as the earth explodes and we all die. I see it as an end of old energy - a return to the way it was when earth was first created - and ascension if you will to a different energy than what we are currently in now.
Much like there was fear surrounding the new millenium - remember how everyone freaked out about the year 2000??? I think there is fear around this date as well. It is my personal opinion that the less energy you give to fear the less powerful that situation can be. If everyone were to go into fear mode about this, then with all likelyhood we could manifest a large problem.
Just my thoughts....
